Hi, I'm Steven "Waffle" Lemahieu, Born in Belgium — hence the nickname — i've started back in the 90' as a catering help for the local production, while I was studing IT, it didn't take me long to figure out that being a stagehand was beter than washing dishes.
When I finished my studies, and trying to deal with live, I became a free-lancer for XL video, EML(now PRG Belgium), Soundfield, ... I did a bit of everything back in the early days, from Light technician, Vari-Lite thechnician, Production Manager, Rigging, Video Tech, Stage Manager. All these experiences made me an all round technician, so I spent more than three decades in the trenches of the world's most demanding touring productions.

From stadium rock to massive festival stages, I have served as LED Crew Chief, Video Department Head, and hands-on technician for artists ranging from Coldplay and Foo Fighters to Iron Maiden and Beyonce.

After 3 years programing some software, and the incouragement of other techs, I decided to release my WaffleLED3 to the public. You can download the MAC version on this page soon.
